NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that JULIAN SUNLEY formerly a member of the ASHFORD HILL with HEADLEY Parish Council will cease to be a member thereof and that casual vacancy exists in the Office of Councillor for the Parish. If, within 14 days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays) after the date of this notice, a request for election to fill the said vacancy is made in writing to the RETURNING OFFICER of the BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL, Civic Offices, London Road, Basingstoke, Hampshire by ten electors for the Parish an election will be held to fill the said vacancy; otherwise, the vacancies will be filled by the Parish Council by co-option.
