Ashford Hill with Headley

During the past winter storms a well used footbridge collapsed due to bank erosion used to connected footpaths 714 and 715. Natural England, who manages the up keep of the meadows, has been looking for a suitable period when to replace the bridge.  This summer thanks to the long dry period has permitted them to bring in the heavy machinary required to install the new bridge.
